As a divorce coach, I help women establish clear goals, manage emotions, and make informed decisions in their divorce process, from pre-divorce, to in-progress, to the post-divorce transition.
As an ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) trained, certified, and experienced divorce coach, I help women clients think strategically, manage communications, and reach agreements effectively which often helps avoid the need for lengthy, costly litigation in court.
I also help my clients unravel the chaos that is divorce, to create practices that help them with mindset, self-talk, setting boundaries, and with handling communications with their spouse that don’t derail them into big reactions that take hours to come back from.
I can help you with all of the above.
If you’re lying awake at night, torn between staying and leaving, feeling overwhelmed by fear, guilt, or just not knowing what to do next—you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. I help women get clear on their options, feel confident in their decision, and create a plan for whatever their next step is.
Imagine having an experienced, trusted guide by your side as you navigate divorce. Coaching helps you reduce conflict, manage the emotional and practical sides of divorce, and make confident decisions—so you can reduce stress, lower costs, and stay in control of your future.
If your spouse is controlling, difficult, or unpredictable, divorce can feel exhausting and overwhelming. Coaching gives you the tools to set boundaries, manage conflict, and communicate calmly—so you can stay focused, protect your peace, and negotiate with confidence.
Divorce is hard, but your next chapter doesn’t have to be. Coaching helps you reclaim your confidence, prioritize your well-being, and let go of the identity of being “divorced.” Together, we focus on healing, setting goals, and creating a life that feels fulfilling and free—on your terms.
Divorce can be overwhelming, but it also holds the potential to reshape your future in powerful ways. My coaching services will guide you through this time of fear, pain, and transition, helping you rebuild your confidence and chart the next steps forward. Together, we’ll address the decisions and challenges you’re facing like the ones that might be racing through your head right now.
We’ll incorporate resources to support you, develop tools to manage your emotions, and create simple strategies for healthier communication and boundaries – all of which play an important role in a smoother, less costly, divorce process.
With a blend of strategy and support, I’ll help you explore your options, identify and work through what’s holding you back, and develop the action plan to move forward. This isn’t just about navigating the divorce—it’s about building a fulfilling life beyond it.
My Divorce Coaching services are not limited by geographic location and are provided via Zoom or phone. We schedule our sessions according to your needs and desired level of support. All correspondence and session scheduling is discreet, and discussions are confidential.
I also offer individualized coaching package options to support specific interest areas including, but not limited to:
Plus: A monthly group coaching program subscription providing on-going support, resources, and a supportive sense of community among women going through divorce and beyond.
It’s great if you have friends and family to talk to for support during your divorce, but they don’t always make the best “coaches”. Often, they are highly emotional about your situation and although they can be comforting, they don’t usually give the kind of support that gets you to a resolution agreement in the least expensive, lowest conflict, or shortest possible path.
While I can help you unpack the pain and hurt of your unique divorce circumstances, my goal is to help you be the most informed, empowered, strategic decision-maker you can be as you move forward toward a resolution and toward creating a stable, mindful, peace-filled, next chapter for yourself and your family.
– Audrey Hepburn
My goal is to give you the personalized guidance and support to help you move forward in the healthiest, most positive way – to set goals, make informed decisions, and take empowered actions – whether you are contemplating divorce; are already in the divorce process and are frustrated with how it’s going; or you’re stuck and struggling to recover post-divorce.
There’s no cost, no pressure—just an open conversation to better understand your situation and see if we’re the right fit. During the call, we’ll talk about your specific challenges—whether you’re trying to decide if divorce is the right path or feeling stuck in the process. We can discuss how coaching could help you gain clarity, avoid unnecessary stress, and support you in taking control of your next steps with less fear and more confidence.
“Marlene’s support and coaching has helped me in away where I am able to feel and work with my own strength in a different perspective. This not only helps myself, but also the people around me. I find I am able to pause more before reacting, bringing grace forward to any troubling situations. I found Marlene to be very loving and kind, and ready to get to work meeting me exactly where I was at. She has a way of seeing the strengths we forget about or went unnoticed for some time. Thank you Marlene, I am forever grateful.”

“Marlene is one of the most gifted healers and an extraordinary human being. Her entrance into my life was timely. I have had several sessions with Marlene and they are always so articulate, precise and nourishing. She ultimately helped me return to myself, creating a sense of calm. So each time I have been off track she provides reminders and inclinations that everything is all right. Nothing is out of her scope, everything is welcome, nothing is deemed to be strange, and she reminds of my purpose and how to access my own strengths. With gratitude!”
-Loren S.
“My divorce coaching sessions with Marlene are always so empowering. I come into the session feeling like I’m completely unraveling with whatever has happened that week, and it doesn’t take long for her to make me feel seen and heard. And to help me remember how capable I actually am. She helps me unscramble my feelings and get down to the business at hand – making a strategic plan, creating goals and action steps, and supporting me to follow through. I literally sleep better at night knowing she has my back and is in my corner!”
-Kathryn S.
“Working with Marlene helped me manage the overwhelming range of emotions I felt in my divorce so I could stay focused (and keep my composure) with my divorce attorney and in collaborative meetings. She helped me organize my thoughts and reality-test my goals and my decisions. I felt much more able to make smart, informed decisions about my future and to keep myself moving forward. Wish I had found her sooner.”

“Working with Marlene has been such a transformative experience! What felt like the end of my world (getting divorced!) gradually became a new chapter she helped me to see and design for myself. Through her coaching and guidance, I was able to understand more clearly what my choices were each step of the way in my divorce process, and I’ve learned to value myself as a independent person, slowly realizing and accepting the responsibility of making my life an amazing one. I will continue to use all of the tools, strategies, and perspectives she shared with me to get through new challenges I face.”
-Susan N.
“I started working with Marlene a several months ago as I was working towards ending my 31 year marriage. I was sad, stressed, confused and looking for a way to work through it. I needed support and had no idea where to look. A friend recommended Marlene and I am forever grateful for it. Marlene helped me emotionally, mentally, & gave me the strength and clarity to navigate my divorce. Her guidance and resources on preparing my financial path were instrumental in me being able to move forward. She listened when I cried, cheered me on when I was hopeless and did it all with humor, grace, empathy and great skill. No matter where I was at emotionally, Marlene met me there and helped me find the best way forward. I can’t recommend Marlene enough no matter where you are in your own journey. She was always available and present for me. Anyone who has her as part of their team is lucky beyond measure.”

“Divorce coaching with Marlene was life-changing. I felt so overwhelmed with the emotions of my marriage ending, dealing with the pain of infidelity, and then on top of that, the legal choices and my fears around the financial side of divorce. She was such a rock and resource for me. She connected me to other professionals when I needed them, so I always felt like I had a way to get the answers I needed. The practices, perspectives, and understanding she helped me with supported me to stay committed to my values, to my health, and to what I wanted my post-divorce life to look like. So grateful and highly recommend her.”
-Diane W.
“Marlene’s ability to listen and distill my thoughts, anxieties, attitude, etc and help me to better understand and channel those thoughts and emotions is absolutely stellar. Marlene is incredibly insightful, compassionate and most of all, REAL, in her approach to helping me feel informed and ready to deal with confidently making really hard (life altering!) decisions. I highly encourage anyone looking for support, clarity, coping skills and a compassion to sign up for her divorce coaching services. Life is good now and I truly feel Marlene’s guidance, insights and approach helped me get here.”
-Trisha N.
“I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first signed up for divorce coaching with Marlene. I wasn’t sure I even wanted a divorce. I just knew I had to make a change and I could feel Marlene’s genuine compassion and patience with me and my situation. I never felt judged nor did she ever try to tell me what I should do. Her coaching was the best investment I’ve made in myself and my marriage in YEARS. I can’t say enough for how she really helped me see my circumstances differently and come up with strategies to improve the ways I deal with conflict. I learned to focus my energy on the things I could control, instead of what I couldn’t. I decided to keep working on my marriage, but I also feel more confident that I understand what the process will look like, and what the least destructive options would be, if I were to someday decide on a divorce.”
